Bay Area Dance Company Information

This training series will be for ANYONE interested in either becoming a part of our company, or if you just want to train for performances & social dancing. ALL ARE WELCOME…it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner to super advanced dancer, even if you have attended this training before and would like to re-join, now is the time!! It also doesn’t matter if you are currently dancing for another company or not.

We meet once a week beginning on Sundays January 20th for 1.5 hours from 3pm to 4:30pm The Venue will be at Studio Gracia, 19 Heron Street, San Francisco , CA 94103. The fee is now $200 for the entire 9 Week Performance Training Session.

The Training will consist of the following:

An opportunity to perform for one of the World’s Most Famous Dance Instructors & Choreographers
An opportunity to travel all over the world performing and teaching (This is optional if you are interested). This a rare opportunity, as not too many dance companies have the connections and resources to make this happen
Seaon is the only Salsa Dance Instructor/Choreographer who does the role of the Follower & Leader equally as well, so both men & women will receive EXCELLENT technique to take your dancing to the next level
Seaon’s Personal Attention, Assessment and Devotion to making you a GREAT Performer & Dancer
Understanding the basic principles behind a GREAT Performer
An in-dept understanding of the timing and musicality used when Performing and Social Dancing
Understanding and learning the concept of AMAZING Styling both for Stage as well as Social Dancing. This will be my PERSONAL Styling Techniques…..broken down and explained for anyone to be able to learn.
Intense Afro Cuban Movement, Rhythms & Styling

After this intensive Performance Training is over, I will then have an audition on March 16th, to choose the people I will be working with. Please note the exemptions as to people I will be choosing.

If you do not attend the training session, you will NOT be considered to be part of this company. My style and way of choreography is drastically different from the average Instructor, and this would be the best opportunity for you to know if this is what you really want. So, if you would like to be a part of this opportunity, you MUST attend this 2 month training session. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.
If you are currently dancing and performing with another dance company, you are more than welcome to attend the training session. I think this might be beneficial for you in the long run, as you’ll be receiving solid training and expertise. You will however, NOT be able to audition to become a member if you are involved with another company. If your desire is to perform & travel with my company, your commitment has to be solely to this company, and no other. Sorry if this is disappointing news, but I would not want a conflict of interest between two directors.
